A commercial sink is a fixture used for washing hands and utensils, usually located near the restroom area of a business, but may be anywhere convenient enough so long as it is accessible to those using it. All commercial sinks have a hot and cold water faucet attached to a basin from which water may enter or exit for use at the sink. Every sink must have some kind of drain connected underneath where wastewater from the sink enters into the sewage system of your local municipality or septic tank if on private property.
